All the living beings in all forms and of all ages desire attainment of something tangible, all the time, everywhere and in every situation. Their actions are contrary to one another and yet, the motivation is one and the same all the time. A genius, a lay man, even an insane person, desires to attain the same aim (लक्ष्य). Even the saints and God perform every action with the same aim in mind.
This statement may seem ridiculous, because even the nature, habits and views of twins are not similar. Additionally, those ideas vary in different situations! Then how can one believe in the authenticity of this concept?
It will become quite apparent if one ponders on the desired outcome of each and every performed action. It appears as if one performs numerous actions for various purposes. But just think, if you aim at higher education, ask yourself
"Why are you studying so much leaving your comforts and interests of life"?
“Because, I have to succeed in attaining the LLB(law) degree”.
"Why?"
"To make good money".
"Why do you want to make good money?"
"So that I can buy a nice car, home etc. of my own choice."
"Why do you want to buy all this?"
"Since, I wish to live a happy life."
"Why do you want to be happy?"
Now, there is no answer for this question. Simply put- "everybody wants to be happy". In the same vein one might desire wealth, fame, family, friends or any other thing. Keep on asking "why". Every questionnaire will end with same answer that "I want to attain happiness". It means one does not want to attain money, properties, name, fame or any other thing. Rather these are considered as a means for attaining that happiness. Peace, bliss, joy, enjoyment are all synonyms of the same term. Thus, it is proven that the only aim of everyone is the attainment of happiness.

Why is this desire so universal? Simply because according to our holy scriptures Veda, Bhagavat, Gita, Ramayan, Quran Sharif and Bible etc. we are the eternal and inseparable part of God and God is happiness. As per natural law that all the parts naturally want to mingle with their source of origin. Hence, being a part of God, we naturally want to attain God. For example the flame rises upwards to meet its source, the sun. All the rivers run towards the ocean. Likewise, the Jeev (living beings) inherently desire to meet God or Bliss.
Why didn’t we attain our source of Bliss? Because despite our sincere and constant quest for bliss, day and night, we haven't attained it since we are searching in the wrong area i.e. we are searching for that happiness in the world of Maya.
How can we attain happiness now? We have to affirm this knowledge by constant contemplation that

How can we attain happiness now? We have to affirm this knowledge by constant contemplation that
- I belong to God alone
- Sansaar-The World is made of Maya , where there is no trace of Happiness. God is our sole relative. All my relationships are with Him.
त्वमेव माता च पिता त्वमेव त्वमेव बन्धुश्च सखा त्वमेव।
त्वमेव विद्या द्रविणं त्वमेव त्वमेव सर्वं मम देवदेव ॥
Tvamēva mātā ca pitā tvamēva... Sarvam mama dēva dēva.

Tvamēva mātā ca pitā tvamēva... Sarvam mama dēva dēva.
"You are my mother, father, friend, my knowledge, my wealth, my all in all"
3. He is unlimited happiness
Then why is this world given to us? This world is given to us to attain the ultimate goal of happiness. Otherwise, souls would have had to remain idle in the infinite belly of God without achieving anything. He created the world with His power of Maya and then Maya created this body with senses, mind and intellect for us to obtain the knowledge that God is our only relative and is the ocean of bliss. Attainment of bliss is our heritage.
Our unyielding 100% faith might enable us to see God or to attain eternal divine bliss.
