Karmendriya is a a Sanskrit word created by joining karma (action) and indriya (organ).

- Hands called pani (पाणि) which can grasp objects
- Feet called pada (पद) which enable us to walk
- Anus called payu (पायु) which is the excretory organ
- Genitals called upastha (उपस्थ) which are for procreation
